How this place works

Hi all, Jay here.
When you joined you agreed to a few principles. This is what they mean day to day.
Be kind about other people's experiences. Someone might share something that sounds strange to you, and it might be the most important thing that ever happened to them. You don't have to agree with it. Just don't mock it.
Questioning is welcome. Ask for evidence or push back on an idea if you think it's wrong. Just do it the way you'd want someone to do it to you.
Put a content warning on anything heavy. There's a box for it when you start a thread. Use it for drug experiences, trauma, grief or anything else that could catch someone off guard.
Be honest about risks. If you're talking about psychedelics or any practice that carries risk, say so plainly. Please don't give medical advice or tell anyone to come off their medication.
No selling. Share your own work if it fits the conversation, but don't use the forum to advertise.
A few quick answers
Who runs this? Me. I built AwenGate and I read everything that gets posted. It's small for now, so replies might be slow at first.
Do I have to believe consciousness is primary? No. That's where the site starts from, but if you see it differently you're welcome here, as long as you're respectful.
Where do I start? Say hello in Introductions. It doesn't need to be long.
What if someone crosses a line? Use the Report link under the post. Only Elders see reports, and I'll deal with it.
These will change as the place grows. What would you add?
